ABOUT NIGHT GLITTER:
It's been two years since Jeri Devlin fell asleep in 1997 and mysteriously awoke in New York City in 1929. Now married to mobster Lex Rose and living a life of luxury, their world suddenly shatters as the Great Depression leaves them bankrupt and Lex fighting for his life. Jeri is forced to flee her home, leaving behind her one true love, in order to save his life and find a way back to her own time. Now alone and desperate, Jeri must also succeed in a murderous game of cat-and-mouse with two mobsters hell-bent on revenge.
In Night Glitter, Jill Shure's long-awaited sequel to her award-winning novel, Night Jazz, the story of Jeri Devlin Rose continues. Desperate to escape the dangers pursuing her in New York, Jeri travels west to the dazzling world of Hollywood where in 1932, stars glitter in the clear night sky and on the silver screen. And glamor cloaks the soul-stealing darkness hidden just below its glossy surface. There, Jeri comes face-to-face with her ancestors, finds sanctuary in a brothel, and is forced into servitude with a diva movie star intent on hiding ruinous secrets of her own. Separated from Lex, alone and broke, she must also come to grips with her passionate desire for Franky Wyatt, a handsome cowboy star whose own career has faded. A man intent on climbing back up to the top.
Glittering nights can not hold off the harsh illuminating light of morning forever.
