The Queen Mary Hosts Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

THE TWO GREATEST SHIPS OF ALL TIME
DOCK TOGETHER BEGINNING DECEMBER 17, 2005!
The Blockbuster Exhibition Returns With Never Before Seen Artifacts

SHIPS MAY SINK, BUT LEGENDS SAIL FOREVER!

(LONG BEACH, CA) The legendary Queen Mary plays host to Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, bringing to life the tragic sinking of the legendary RMS Titanic through real objects and real stories. This remarkable exhibition, created with painstaking care by Premier Exhibitions, Inc. and generously expanded for this visit, celebrates the lives of the passengers and crew, both saved and lost, in the disaster that claimed the lives of more than 1,500 people on April, 15, 1912. The heroic and heartbreaking personal stories of the passengers and crew members aboard the ship make this an unforgettable experience for everyone. More than 270 fragile, authentic, beautiful and stunningly preserved artifacts, carefully recovered from the wreckage 2.5 miles below the ocean's surface, serve to enhance the stories that unfold throughout this magnificent exhibition.

The Queen Mary is the ideal setting to experience life aboard a passenger liner, and sets the eerily-perfect mood for visitors to experience the exhibition. Moving through this more extensive exhibition, each visitor is drawn back in time as they step into authentically recreated First and Third Class Cabins and view actual artifacts recovered from Titanic's debris field. In the Memorial Room, visitors will learn about the aftermath of the disaster, the relief funds, and the efforts to find over 1,500 lost loved ones. Visitors will feel the temperature drop, learn details of the sinking, touch an iceberg and explore the theories of this tragic tale.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is open daily from 10am-6pm. Admission prices are: Adults (age 12 to 54) $16.95, Seniors (ages 55 and over) and Military $14.95, and Children (age 5_11) $12.95, Non-student groups of 15 or more $12.95, School groups of 15 or more $9.00.
