MICHAEL CRICHTON - Michael Crichton

Joseph Marich has had the privilege of working with Michael Crichton from 1992 -- three years prior to the founding of Marich Communications -- until April of 2009, following his untimely death in November of 2008. During our more than 16-year tenure with Michael Crichton, Marich Communications worked on 8 national and international best-selling book launches; 7 feature films that grossed more than $2.7 Billion worldwide; and the popular hit television series, "ER," that won countless awards and aired for 15 seasons, becoming the longest-running medical drama in primetime television history. It won 22 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series (1996), and received 123 Emmy nominations, the most of any television show in history. and is currently responsible for all national and international public relations, media relations and public appearances on behalf of Michael.

Marich Communications was responsible for all national and international public relations, media relations and public appearances on behalf of Michael Crichton. We also coordinated arrangements for the Royal Premiere of "Jurassic Park" in London (benefiting a Diana, Princess of Wales' charity), which Michael Crichton was asked to attend.

Michael was a man of great talent and great humor. The world will miss his fascinating world-view and the books and films that entertained us all and got people talking.

We will miss his friendship. Everyday.
